The answer is yes.

Trump’s childish talk to make Canada the 51st state isn’t helping.
MAGA fans find it amusing but it is backfiring.
So are tariffs, breaking Trump’s self-negotiated USMCA “Best trade deal in history.”
Fake National Emergency
It is foolish to break USMCA on grounds of a fake national emergency.
It proves that Trump may not honor any deal he signs. His words, even deals are effectively worthless.

My original headline title was “Is Trump Inadvertently Helping Trudeau and the Liberals in Canada?”
Trudeau is gone. He stepped down. But these actions will make him and the new Liberal leader, likely Mark Carney, look better.
I mentioned Trudeau in the headline because the next party leader isn’t set.
But it’s better to take Trudeau out of the picture.
Registered Liberals have until March 9 at 3 p.m. ET to cast their vote with the expectation that the new Liberal Party of Canada leader will be announced later that day.
