Perched inside an iconic Dubai building sits one of the world’s highest penthouses and it’s now on sale for a staggering £40million.

Spanning two levels and encompassing nearly 17,000 square feet of space, this penthouse is located in the Burj Khalifa – also the world’s tallest building at 828 meters (1299ft).

Access to this property is via the skyscraper’s only private lift, and its interior design includes floor-to-ceiling windows that allow natural light to flood in.

The huge windows offer panoramic views of the city and the Persian Gulf allowing its new owners to have their morning coffee whilst admiring the skyline.

Boasting a private pool, this penthouse stands out for its luxurious features.

The property has several leisure and relaxation areas, and a suite of exclusive services, including a private lounge, gymnasium, Japanese gardens, and 24-hour concierge service.

Despite its sky high price the penthouse comes unfurnished, allowing buyers to put their own personal mark on the property.

“It is a basic unit offering a blank canvas for decoration to create a masterpiece tailored to your needs, with ample space for large entertainment areas, luxury bedrooms, and personalised services adapted to your vision,” said Invest Dubai Real Estate, responsible for its sale.

Debate is underway about whether it truly is the highest penthouse in the world. Invest Dubai Real Estate claims it is over 1299ft high in the sky but without an exact figure, it’s difficult to determine if it surpasses New York’s Central Park Tower penthouse at 1548ft.

Invest Dubai Real Estate believe the property’s eye weatering price tag allows luxuary homeowners to become “part of history”.

“This penthouse is a testament to exceptional luxury and architectural excellence,” said Asad Khan, Founder and CEO of Invest Dubai Real Estate. “Owning a residence in the Burj Khalifa is not just about having a home; it’s about becoming part of history itself.”

The top 40 floors of the Burj Khalifa are currently commercial offices while the other 900 apartments on the remaining floors are 99% occupied.

Nestled within the Burj Khalifa on the 122nd floor sits the highest restaurant on Earth offering guests unparalleled views of the Dubai skyline.
