Zuckerberg now admits Biden pressured Facebook to suppress posts on Covid. Some give him credit for honesty. Not me.

Zuckerberg Responds to Criticism

JUST IN: Mark Zuckerberg responds to people criticizing him as only changing his tune on free expression online after the 2024 election.

He says it’s based on a “cultural pulse.”

“I try not to change our content rules right in the middle of an election. There’s not really a good time to do this.”

“This is something I’ve been thinking about for a while. I think this is gonna be pretty durable.”

Points for Honesty

In a Post on X, Eric Daugherty says “I have to give Zuckerberg points for honesty.”

That post also contains a self-serving video clip by Zuckerberg.

Let’s be honest: What bullsh*t. This is why.

Censoring Memes

Here is an interesting Video Clip of Zuckeberg with Joe Rogan about the Biden Administration.

“These people from the Biden Administration would call up our team and scream at them, curse.”

Rogan asks “Did you record any of those phone calls?”

Zuckerberg explains “No … There are emails. The emails are published. It’s all kind of out there.” …. “All these different agencies and branches of government started investigating, coming after our company. It was brutal.”

They Pushed Us to Take Down Things that Were True

Here’s a Second Video Clip on censorship.

“At the beginning it kind of seemed like OK. We should give a little deference to the government and health authorities on how we should play this. But when it went from two weeks to flatten the curve, to masks are not important, to you have to wear a mask, and everything was shifting around, it became different to follow.”

“I’m generally pretty pro rolling out vaccines. But I think that while they are trying to push that program, they also tried to censor anyone who was arguing against it. And they pushed us super hard to take down things that were honestly true.”

“They pushed us and said that anything that says vaccines might have side effects, you basically need to take down.”

Had Zuckerberg admitted this in 2022 or 2023, OK. I would give him some credit for speaking out.

He did not even do this in 2024. Instead, he waited until after Trump won.

For this we are supposed to praise Zuckerberg for honesty?

Please be serious.

“I try not to change our content rules right in the middle of an election. There’s not really a good time to do this.”

Sorry, but there is never a good time to hide illegal government coercion. This is all after the fact self-serving BS now that Trump has won.

And it’s possible this delay cost Republicans some House and Senate races.

Zuckerberg deserves negative points for honesty because he is a proven coward.
